National Olympic Committee of Luxembourg (COSL)

The Olympic Committee of Luxembourg (Comité Olympique et Sportif Luxembourgeois (COSL)) is the umbrella organisation of sport in Luxembourg. COSL, which is recognised as the main body of sport in Luxembourg by the public authorities and as National Olympic Committee by the IOC, brings together 61 sport federations, both Olympic and non-Olympic, with approximately 121,000 members and 1,550 sport clubs.

The main goals of COSL are: to bring together national sport federations; to contribute to the development of sport and physical education; to represent the interests of the Sport Movement; and to promote the ideals of the Olympic Movement and to organise the participation in the Olympic Games and other sport events.
